Selle näituse lähtepunktiks oli leida erinevaid maalipõhiseid autoripositsioone kaasaegse kunsti väljalt, mitte aga teha maalinäitust. No painting! Kõik kümme sellel näitusel osalevat kunstnikku töötavad kusagil maali ja pildi vahepeal kuigi nende meetodid võivad olla üpris erinevad. Üldiselt iseloomustab nende loomingut instrumentaalne suhe oma meediumisse ja kontseptuaalne suhe oma teemadesse.
