Oustanding cutting performance

A 50.1 cc X-Torq engine provides increased torque with lower fuel consumption and reduced exhaust emissions. Combined with Husqvarna’s AutoTune technology, optimal engine performance is provided with automatic engine setting. You can work more efficiently, with no time spent on carburettor adjustments, intelligently compensating for altitude, humidity, fuel, temperature and air filter condition.

Other intelligent features include RevBoost, providing rapid acceleration and higher chain speed for optimal limbing performance, as well as Smart Start, reducing the amount of effort necessary to start the machine, and an inertia chain brake, for improved peace of mind while working.

Perfect for full-time use

As you would expect from a Husqvarna saw, the 550 XP is designed to keep on going and not let you down. It has a centrifugal air cleaning system for reduced wear and longer operating times between filter cleanings, plus a quick release air filter cover to save time when cleaning or changing the spark plug. The crankcase is sturdily built of magnesium, while the crankshaft is forged of three pieces for improved durability. An adjustable oil pump allows you to set the chain lubrication to match your needs.

A great saw to work with

Husqvarna’s LowVib technology uses anti-vibration dampeners to improve operator comfort while working with the machine. The 550 XP has a low, slender body that makes this model easy and convenient to handle. Choke and stop controls are combined for easier starting, as well as reducing the engine flood risk, while the side-mounted chain tensioner, retained bar nuts and visible fuel level all help keep operation simple.
