Heas seisus originaalne postkaardi suuruses foto. Pildil on Tšehhoslovakia armee sõdur kaprali auastmes (svobodnik) vormis M1930. Pildil on näha armee mütsimärki jalaväerügemendi numbrit 35.
The 35th Czechoslovak Infantry Regiment (known as Pětatřicátníci or "The 35ers") was an elite, historically significant West Bohemian military unit. In September 1938, as part of the 2nd Infantry Division, it mobilized for border defense against Nazi Germany. The regiment was largely stationed in Plzeň and Klatov before the Czechoslovak Army was formally disbanded.
Historical Name: Officially named pěší pluk 35 "Foligno", commemorating the unit's historic ties to the 35th Czechoslovak Legionnaires of the Italian Front.
Garrison Relocation: In the lead-up to the mobilization, the regiment's I. and III. battalions were based in Plzeň, while the II. battalion was relocated to Kralovice and then to Klatov (Klattau) in December 1938.
Equipment & Readiness: As part of the highly modernized Czechoslovak army of the late 1930s, the infantry had domestic small arms, heavy machine guns, and a strong reserve pool.
