2K Showcase

The series' popular story-based mode also returns in WWE 2K16 and lets players relive big matches and moments of WWE story. They must complete goals to unlock legendary characters, moves, clothing, match types and more.

My Career

The career mode of the series goes into its second year and lets players determine their own path by making important decisions as they advance from NXT to WWE to make it all the way to the WWE Hall of Fame. Plus, they train, compete with others, give individual interviews, make rival life hard and can form the ultimate tag team.

WWE World

WWE 2K16 has been extensively improved in terms of scenarios, rivals and match selection. Superstars can also be assigned to multiple shows for the first time, so players expect an even more diverse gaming experience. Not all features available on all platforms.

Gameplay Improvements New Reversal System

The Reversal system has been redesigned to make the matches run more smoothly overall and introduce a new strategic level. Each superstar has a certain number of reversals that can be executed and recharge over time. This prevents players from simply trying to counter each attack. In addition, in WWE 2K16 there are now light and heavy reversals on certain moves. Lightweight reversals are easier to perform and require only a single reversal charge. Heavy reversals are more challenging, but also do more than just damage the opponent.
