Kuigi seeria aastaarv on 1916, trükiti neid rahatähti ka hiljem, näiteks Soome iseseisvumise ajal 1917. aastal.
- Seeria on 1916: Kujundus ja ametlik väljalaskeaasta on 1916, mil Soome oli veel Vene impeeriumi osa (seda kinnitab kahepealine kotkas esiküljel).
- Kasutamine 1917. aastal: Neid samu 1916. aasta seeria rahatähti trükiti ja kasutati edasi ka 1917. aastal ja isegi 1918. aasta alguses. Kuna uute rahatähtede kujundamine võttis aega, jäid vanad klišeed kasutusse ka vahetult pärast Soome iseseisvumist 1917. aasta detsembris.
Seega on tegemist 1916. aasta seeria rahatähega, mis oli käibel ka 1917. aastal toimunud ajalooliste sündmuste ajal.
