Sõna MILPENGO tähistab miljonit pengőt. See tähendab, et selle ühe kupüüri reaalne väärtus oli 10 000 000 000 ehk 10 miljardit tavalist pengőt. Kuna inflatsioon kasvas 1946. aasta kevadeks astronoomiliseks, ei mahtunud nullid enam paberile ära ja Ungari võttis kasutusele uue ühiku „milpengő” (miljon pengőt)
