Narkovõmmid Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) ja Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) konfiskeerisid just oma karjääri suurima narkolaadungi. Kuid peagi varastatakse kogu koorem politseijaoskonnast kurjategija Foucheti (Tchéky Karyo) poolt. Kurjategijate jahil tapetakse üks Mikei sõbranna. Ainuke tunnistaja, Julie (Téa Leoni), on nõus rääkima ainult Mikeiga.
