Antiikne pronksskulptuur “Le courage militaire”, autor Paul Dubois (1829-1905)

Prantsuse skulptor: Paul Dubois 1880, väljaanne valatud signeeritud F.BARBEDIENNE.
“Sõjalist julgust” esindav allegooriline kuju on üks neljast Nantes’i katedraali kindral de La Moricière’i kenotaafi kummaski nurgas olevast kujust. Hea näide Dubois’ neoflorentilikust stiilist.
Paul Dubois (1829 – 1905) oli Prantsusmaalt Nogent-sur-Seine’ist pärit prantsuse skulptor ja maalikunstnik. Aastatel 1865 ja 1876 pälvis ta Salon des beaux-artsis médaille d’honneur.
