Mälestusraamatus antakse ülevaade Arnold Greeni tegevusest spordijuhina. Green oli olümpialiikumise taastajaid Eestis ning taasloodud Eesti Olümpiakomitee esimene president. EOK presidendina tegutses ta 1989-1997. Green on juhtinud Eesti Suusaliitu ja Eesti Maadlusliitu.
2001. aastal autasustas Rahvusvaheline Olümpiakomitee Arnold Greeni Olümpiaordeniga. Eesti Olümpiakomitee autasustas 2006. aastal Arnold Greeni EOK kõrgeima autasuga – teenetemärgiga.
