The remains of the metro network in post-apocalyptic Moscow are the place of action of Metro 2033. In this gripping underground survival struggle, the fate of humanity is in your hands.

In 2013, the world was ravaged by an apocalyptic catastrophe that wiped out almost all humanity and turned the Earth's surface into a poisonous wasteland. A handful of survivors sought shelter in the depths of the Moscow underworld, and for human civilization a gloomy age began.
We write the year 2033.
An entire generation has been born and raised underground, and the populated cities of the metro stations struggle for survival - among themselves, and against terrible mutants lurking in the outside world.

They take on the role of Artjom in Metro 2033, born in the last days before the fire, raised underground. Artjom has never left the borders of his own metro station, but through a fateful event he becomes part of a mission with the aim of reaching the heart of the Metro system and warn the remnants of humanity of an impending danger.

They travel from the forgotten catacombs under the subway to the abandoned desolations of the world above the metro...

Their actions will decide the fate of humanity.
