TUTVUSTUS
Landeswehri sõda kestis küll vaid napilt kuu aega ja oli vaid üheks episoodiks aastate 1918-1920 sõjapoliitilises sündmustikus, kuid selle psühholoogiline tähendus on küllalt oluline. 23. juunil 1919 eestlaste võiduga lõppenud Võnnu lahingu päeva hakati Eesti Vabariigis tähistama võidupühana kui «eestlaste kõigi aegade võitluste ja võitude mälestuspäeva, meenutamaks Lembitu päevil alanud lakkamatut võitlust eesti rahva olemasolu ja poliitilise vabaduse eest».
