- CAT5E kaabli standardne andmeedastuskiirus on kuni 1000 Mbit/s (1 Gbit/s), sagedusel 100 MHz kuni 350 MHz, mis on ideaalne Gigabit Etherneti jaoks. See toetab stabiilselt internetiühendust, voogedastust ja andmeedastust, olles mõeldud väiksema häirete tasemega kui vana Cat5.
Peamised andmed CAT5E kohta:
- Kiirus: 1 Gbps (1000 Mbps).
- Ribalaius: 100 MHz kuni 350 MHz.
- Maksimaalne pikkus: 100 meetrit (tavapärane kohtvõrk).
- Kasutusala: Kodu- ja kontorivõrgud, Gigabit Ethernet.
- Võimekus: Mõned CAT5E kaablid suudavad toetada ka 2.5GBASE-T või isegi kuni 5 Gbps kiirust lühematel distantsidel.
Kuigi uuemad standardid nagu Cat6 ja Cat6a pakuvad suuremat kiirust (10 Gbps), on CAT5E endiselt kõige levinum ja piisav valik enamiku koduste internetiühenduste jaoks.
