“Kuidas Jaromil oma õnne leidis” on tšehhi muinasjutt ja see räägib loo väikesest poisist, kelle isa on vaene söepõletaja, ema (nii nagu muinasjuttudes ikka – õel võõrasema) annab Jaromilile pidevalt peksa. Jaromilil endal on aga suur unistus – saada aednikuks. Ühel heal päeval satub ta mäehaldjate riiki ja õpib seal paljugi teadma. Naastes sellest kaunist kohast, on ta oluliselt vanemaks saanud ja nüüd tulevad muinasjuttude hea kombe kohaselt mängu kuningas ja haige kuningatütar. Nii nagu muinasjuttudes ikka on just Jaromil see, kes appi tõttab ja kuningatütre päästab.
