Kaardi pealkiri: "Regni Poloniae Magnique Ducatus Lithuaniae nova et exacta tabula / J. B. Homann" viitab ajaloolisele Poola Kuningriigi ja Leedu Suurvürstiriigi föderatsioonile, mida tunti Rzeczpospolitana ehk Poola-Leedu Ühendusena (1569–1795). Eesti ei kuulunud selle ühenduse kossseisu ja on sattunud kaardile kui lähinaaber.
Kaari autor: Johann Baptist Homann (1663 - 1724 )
Esimese sellise kaardi avaldas Homann 1716.aastal atlases "Grosser Atlas ueber die ganze Welt"
Oksjonil olev kaart on leht 1739. aastal Nürnbergis avaldatud samanimelisest atlasest.
