CORINE Land Cover projekt on osa Euroopa Liidu CORINE programmist, mida teostati Euroopa Liidu liikmesriikides aastatel 1985-1990. Jättes kõrvale topograafilise kaardistuse, on projekti tulemusena esmakordselt loodud kogu riiki kattev, ühtsel metoodilisel alusel ja digitaalselt teostatud andmekogu Eesti looduslike, pool-looduslike ja inimtekkeliste alade esinemisest ja levikust.
