Orphea saab sarnaselt Orpheusele oma kallima allilmast tagasi tuua ja nagu Glucki ooperis on ka sellel filmil õnnelik lõpp, kuid teistsugune tempo kui ooperitel tavaliselt. Nagu vanas heas ooperis, näib muusika alati algavat siis, kui aeg seisma jääb, ja tegelased tõmbuvad endasse, et põgeneda oma unenäomaailma.
„Orphea in Love“ on magus austusavaldus ooperile ja armastusele, jutustades samal ajal oma lugu, ühendades realismi ja kitši, mis on mõnes mõttes sama lähedal Flashdance’ile kui Gluckile või Puccinile.
