Tutvustus
Käesolev teos on eellooks raamatule «Eesti 100 aastat tagasi» ja annab ülevaate Eesti ja eestlaste elust 20.sajandi algul, kui elati suure Vene tsaaririigi koosseisus. See oli aeg, kus eestlased asusid üha rohkem elama linnadesse või rändasid kodumaalt välja, arenes tööstus ja transport, ehitati raudteid. Ilma tegid jõumehed ja maadlejad, tekkisid esimesed teatrid, esmakordselt lendasid Eesti taevas lennukid ja õhupallid. Toimus ka 1905. aasta revolutsioon ja lähenes laastav Esimene maailmasõda.
