Koomiksisari Pesakond sündis 1994. a. mais ja ilmus esimest korda 5. juulil 1994 ajalehes”Post”. Algul ilmus 2-4 korda nädalas, hiljem iga päev, kuni ”Posti” viimase numbrini.Järgnesid ”Õhtuleht” ja siis ”Sõnumileht” kuni ”SL Õhtulehe” tekkimiseni ning portaal jippii.ee 2000. aasta detsembrist 2002 märtsini. Nendes väljaannetes tegutses ”Pesakond” iga päev ja üksvahe käis ta korra nädalas ka ”Eesti Päevalehes”.
Peale selle on Pesakond ilmunud kümnes koomiskivihikus ”TASE Koomix”. 5. sünnipäeva tähistas paksem kogumik ”PESAKOND V”, kuhu olid valitud 1994-1999 ilmunud koomikseid 5 erineval teemal.
