"Flight of the Conchords" jälgib kahe Uus-Meremaalt pärit mehe digi-folk bändi katsumusi, kui nad püüavad tuntust koguda nende uues kodus New Yorgis. Bändi liikmeteks on Bret McKenzie (kitarr, vokaal) ja Jemaine Clement (kitarr, vokaal).
Bret ja Jemaine kolisid New Yorki lootuses teha edukat muusikakarjääri. Siiani on neil õnnestunud leida enestele mänedžer Murray (kelle "teine" töö on Uus-Meremaa konsulaadis), üks tulihingeline fänn Mel (abielus) ja sõbra Dave, kes peab kohalikku pandimaja - kuid mitte eriti rohkem.
