1. oktoobril saanuks Viljar Loor kuuekümneseks. Kõikide sporditiitlitega Loor jõudis pallurina kui mitte päris täiuseni, siis täiusele küllap lähemale, kui on jõudnud ükski eesti soost pallur. Spordikõrvases ja -järgses elus Looril nii hästi ei läinud. Karile jooksid esimene ja teine pikk kooselu, täit hingerahu ei toonud kolmaski.
