Seenioridest fotohuvilised on koos käinud peaaegu 10 aastat. Fotoring on üldse esimesi ringe, mis Viimsi Pensionäride Ühenduse loomisest saati on koos käinud. Eakad on oma elukogemusest talletanud oskuse vaadelda ja märgata. Tänapäevane tehnika annab võimalused kõike seda aga ülima lihtsusega salvestada.
Idee koostada fotohuviliste pensionäride fotoalbum on ühendusel meeles mõlkunud juba tükk aega. Eesti Vabariigi 90. sünnipäeva aastal ja ühenduse 15. aastapäeval tundus see olevat just õige aeg.
