Hosta Halcyon taim.
Taime kõrgus 30-45 cm, laius 60-100 cm. Moodustab kasvades suurepärase puhma. Lehed on paksud, intensiivselt sinised, kriitjad, siledad kuni ribilised. Lehe tipp on terav, serv peaaegu lame, lehe kuju on lai ovaal. Lehe alumine osa on südamekujuline ja üks leheserv katab allosas teist. Õied on lavendli värvi. Vajab poolvarjulist kasvukohta. Tugevamas päikeses võib ilus sinine värv kahvatuda. Sobib kasvatada konteineris. Suurepärane peenra ääristaimeks varjulisse kasvukohta, kuid on ka osaliselt päikesetolerantne.
Nälkjatele ja tigudele resistentne.
Hea pinnakatja ja sobib hästi taimekastidesse.
