Kunstnik Imbi Lind sündis 1930. aastal Valgas. Tema lapsed, Epp Maria Kokamägi ning Ilo Kokamägi on samuti kunstnikud. Asus 1949. aastal õppima ERKI-sse, mille lõpetas 1956. aastal maali- ja teatridekoratsiooni erialal.Töötas 1958 - 1970 Eesti TV-s ja 1970-1983 Tallinfilmis kunstnikuna. Näitustel esinenud alates 1958. aastast, Kunstnike Liitu kuulub alates 1957. aastast.Viljelenud portreemaali, kus kujutanud loomeinimesi ja lapsi. Samuti maalinud lilli, maastikke ja merd.
