Kreeka poeedi ja nobelisti esimene eestikeelne kogumik sisaldab luulekogusid, milles kajastuvad helleenlusega seotud teemad.
Seferis taaselustas oma luules kreeka traditsioone ja mütoloogiat ning mõtestas nende abil kaasaega. «Müütiline jutustus» on sümboolne rännak läbi Kreeka ajaloo, rääkides muu hulgas kreeklaste väljasaatmisest Väike-Aasia rannikult (1922), kust luuletaja pärit oli. Lapsepõlve paradiisiga sarnase õhkkonna leidis Seferis jälle 1950. aastatel Küproselt, millest pajatab luulekogu «Logiraamat III».
