Eesti kõigi aegade parim pikamaajooksja Enn Sellik on kahekordne olümpiamees (Montreal 1976, Moskva 1980). Kuigi tiitlivõistlustel ei õnnestunud Sellikul pjedestaalile tõusta, kuulus ta oma parimail aastail maailma tippstaierite hulka. Selliku võimetest kõneleb asjaolu, et tema nimele kuuluvad tänaseni Eesti rekordid 5000 (13.17,2, Podolsk 1976) ja 10 000 meetris (27.40,61, Praha 1978). Niisiis on Selliku rekordid püsinud 40 aastat!
