2. Täpsustatud tuvastamine: lamp "Karbolit"
Kuigi disaini poolest on lamp peaaegu identne Saksa Kandemi mudelitega, on meie ees kuulus nõukogude tehase "Karbolit" laualamp (mida sageli kutsutakse "NKVD lambiks" või "narkomi lambiks").
Materjal: Alusplaat on valmistatud karboliidist (nõukogude analoog bakeliidile), nagu kinnitab märgistus.
Disaini ajalugu: 1930. aastatel ostis NSV Liit aktiivselt lääne tehnoloogiaid ja disaininäidiseid. Orehovo-Zujevo tehase nõukogude insenerid kohandasid Saksa Kandemi disaini (eriti Bauhausi töid) massiliseks tootmiseks Nõukogude Liidus.
Kultuuriline tähendus: Sellest mudelist sai nõukogude ajastu kultusese. See seisis tippjuhtide, ametnike ja uurijate laudadel, saades 1930.–1950. aastate esteetika sümboliks.
