Helve Poska on 1925. aastal Haapsalus sündinud ja 2020. a. Stockholmis surnud eesti poetess, kes on kooliteed käinud Haapsalus, Tallinnas ja Rootsis. 1944. aastal abiellus ta jur. kand. Jüri Poskaga. Helve Poska valdas sonetipärja kirjutamise harukordset kunsti, mille näiteid võib leida kõigis ta luulekogudes, kuid parimad on kogus "Elutahud". Käesolevas kogumikus on ka tema luulele viisistatud laulude noote. Tema sulest on ilmunud 4 luulekogu. Helve Poska oli Eesti Kirjanike Liidu liige.
