Torn sümboliseerib Weissensteini lossi (saksa keelest Weißenstein – "valge kivi"), mis andis linnale ajaloolise nime. Torni külgedel olevad prussid viitavad samuti lubjakivile, millest loss ehitati.

Башня символизирует замок Вейсенштейн (от нем. Weißenstein — «белый камень»), который дал городу его историческое название. Бруски по сторонам башни также отсылают к известняку, из которого был построен замок.
