2011. a Eesti Rahvakunsti ja Käsitöö Liidu teema-aasta huviorbiidis oli ehtimine ja ehtekunst. Konkursist osavõtt oli arvukas, konkursile laekus ligi 214 ehet 136 autorilt.
Konkursi eesmärgiks oli luua rahvuslikel traditsioonidel põhinevaid uusi ja tänapäevaseid ehteid ning lisandeid, mida võib kanda rahvuslike ja rahvarõivaste juures.
