Elsbeth Aarsalu on õppinud ajalugu, vanu keeli, saksa tõlget ja klaverit. Maalioskused omandas ta Konrad Mägi Ateljees Tartus. Ta tegutseb vabakutseliselt Tallinnas ja Berliinis.
