Abstract:
El prisionero 13 tells the story of a Mexican colonel whose corruption leads him to unwittingly order and then try to prevent the execution of his own son. El compadre Mendoza concerns a landowner who attempts to remain neutral in the revolution but eventually has to take a side. Vámonos con Pancho Villa! is the story of a group of idealistic peasants who join the revolution, but battles and disease reduce their number to just one individual who is ordered to leave the army and go home.
