Maxi (Jason Bateman) ja Annie (Rachel McAdams) iganädalane mängude õhtu muutub grammi võrra põnevamaks, kui Maxi sarmikas vend Brooks (Kyle Chandler) korraldab mõrvamüsteeriumi peo, kust ei puudu ka mängupätid ja FBI agendid. Kui Brooks röövitakse, on seegi osa mängust… eks?
