Nadine Gordimer1991. aastal Nobeli preemia võitnud LAV kirjaniku üks tuntumaid romaane keelustati autori kodumaal pärast selle ilmumist 1981. aastal. Sündmuste taustaks on fiktiivne kodusõda Lõuna-Aafrikas, mille käigus mustanahalised kukutavad apartheidi süsteemi.
