Aasta pärast seda, kui Pevensie pere lapsed Narniast lahkusid, kutsutakse nad sinna tagasi. Peter, Susan, Edmund ja Lucy ei usu oma silmi. Kõik rääkivad loomad ja muud maagilised olendid on kui nõiaväel kuhugi kadunud ning ka lõvi Aslanit pole keegi viimased tuhat aastat näinud. Neli last kutsus kohale prints Caspian (Ben Barnes), Telmariini troonipärija, kelle elu ohustab tema onu, õel kuningas Miraz.
