Ilya Kaminsky on Ukraina päritolu Ameerika luuletaja, kelle debüütkogu "Odessa tantsud" ("Dancing in Odessa") ilmus 2004. aastal. Teos on pühendatud Odessale, mis on ühtaegu tõeline koht – autori sünnilinn – kui ka kujuteldav paik, kus põimuvad mälestused, kujutluspildid ja jutustatud lood.
Kaminsky külluslik luulekeel on täis sümboleid ja mütoloogiat, muusikat ja huumorit. Tema luuletustes figureerivad mitmed autorile olulised luuletajad, nii on tsükkel "Musica Humana" pühendatud Ossip Mandelštamile, aga tekstides ilmuvad ka Paul Celan, Jossif Brodski, Marina Tsvetajeva ja mitmed teisedki.
