Neljas osa „Oma laulu leidsime üles” hõlmab perioodi 1950. aastaist kuni tänapäevani. Autor käsitleb põhjaikult Eesti Raadio kollektiive: estraadiorkestrit 1955 kuni likvideerimiseni 1998 ja raadios tegutsenud vokaal- ja instrumentaalansambleid. Eraldi peatükid on pühendatud orkestritele, dirigentidele ja popansamblitele ning nende loomingule. Paeluvad on peatükid väljapaistvamaist lauljaist ja vähe teadaolevast eesti levimuusikast paguluses.
