Mehe leiab Mason ise ning too ei jää viimaseks mõrvatud meheks, kelle ta juhtumi käigus avastab. Segadusseajavas loos püsib Masoni pea tema kliendi õnneks siiski kõige selgem. Nii pääseb õiglus lõpuks võidule, ehkki seadusesilmad jäävadki nõutult käsi laiutama.
