TUTVUSTUS
Neljas teos, «Püüa päeva» on Saul Bellow romaanidest kõige lühem. Käsikiri valmis 1955. aastal ühes Nevada indiaanlaste reservatsioonis, kuhu tõid kirjaniku tema antropoloogiahuvid.
Saul Bellow' mõttetihedus ja soe huumor, oskus kujutada inimesi depressioonis ja luua vitaalseid karaktereid.
Saul Bellow sündis 1915. a. Quebecis, Kanadas, kuhu ta vanemad olid Venemaalt emigreerunud.
Saul Bellow' esikromaan «Ripakile jäänud mees» ilmus 1944. aastal.
