The 13 stories in this book invite the reader to delve into fiction, mystery, fantasy, romance and even magical realism. The thin line between reality and dreams is sometimes blurred and unintelligible. Characters and unexpected situations are intermingled. What do a chess player who lost his memory, a fox from the Estonian-Russian border, a man with a heart of glass, an exorcist, the end of the times, a couple of ghosts in love, a bunch of unexplained murders and a crocodile from the Mexican jungle have in common? The above are just some of the ingredients for the ideal recipe to let fly the imagination of the reader.
"Teekond Méxicost Setomaale" ("The road from Mexico to Setomaa") is her first published work in Estonian language, in Estonia. The book was in the first place of sales last year. Finalist in the Young People's Novel Competition, 2022 organized by the Estonian Children's Literature Center.
