Raamat "Emajõe jutustus" Luise Vaher, 1974.
«Emajõe jutustus» käsitleb ajajärku 1945—1948, okupatsiooniaega ja Eesti vabastamist okupantidest. Pärast kodanliku võimu kukutamist ja Eesti võtmist Nõukogude Sotsialistlike Vabariikide Liitu teravnes klassivõitlus kehvtalupoja ja kulaku vahel.
Selle romaani puhul pälvib tähelepanu ennekõike teose 1960. ja 1974. aasta trüki võrdlus. Vahepeal oli autor teinud tekstis muudatusi, mis puudutavad peamiselt naispeategelast Annelit ja tema elu. Uues trükis on Anneli lugu üritatud teha korrektsemaks, voolida peategelasest poliitiliselt teadlikumat nõukogude naist. Vähendatud on tema välimuse kirjeldusi ja romantilisi stseene ning laiemalt romantilise süžee tähendust tema jaoks.
Elu ei astunud meil siis kaugeltki kõps-kingadel – tipa-tapa. Neljakümnes aasta ja Nõukogude Eesti loomine oli kõike muud kui jalutuskäik kruusatatud ning rehitsetud pargiteel.
