1985. aastal ehitas Olivier Lejeune, arvutihuviline keskkooliõpilane, 18-aastaselt oma vanemate garaažis oma esimese modemi. Sellest ajas sai alguse tema asutaud firma Olitec (Olivier Technologie), mis algselt spetsialiseerus sidevahendite (modemid, seejärel WiFi- kaardid, ruuterid, ADSL-filtrid jne.) projekteerimisele ja tootmisele. Selle peakorter asus Malzéville'is (Meurthe-et-Moselle) Prantsusmaal... Likvideeritud 2011.
