1704 a. Oxfordis Edward Wells`i poolt välja antud kaart:
"A New Map of Ancient Scandinavia together with as much more of ye Northern Part of Ancient Europe as Answers to Present"
Detailselt on välja toodud Taani osa: "Present Denmark with the adjoining Parts of Sweden and Germany"
Kaart oli pühendatud Glouchesteri hertsogile Williamile 1689-1700), kes oli troonipärija ( ema printsess Ann, hilisem kuninganna, isa Taani prints Georg) ja kes asus õppima Oxfordis.
Edward Wells oli tema õpetaja ülikoolis. Kahjuks ei saanud ta eriti õppida vaid suri noore poisina
Eesti osa on kirjeldatud kui Sküütia osana, mis näitab äärmist asjatundatust, sest Sküütia riik asus praeguse Krimmi piironnas ja lagunes meie ajaarvamise algul.
