2014
Alates 1956. aastast ilmus Kanadas ja Rootsis soomepoiste väljaanne Põhjala Tähistel, kokku 20 numbrit. 1994-st kuni 2008 aastani ilmus 13 numbrit Eestis. Mauri Koskela ja Harri Kask on viimastest valinud eestlastest sõjaveteranide meenutusi Soomes II Maailmasõja päevil.
Soomekeelne raamat ilmus Soome Vabariigi 96. iseseisvuspäeva tähistamiseks 06.12.2013.a. Eesti keelne raamat ilmus soomepoiste Eestisse tagasituleku 70-ndaks aastapäevaks 19.08.2014.a.
Raamatus on 28 autorit tõetruult kirjeldanud sõjasündmusi Soomes. Raamatu ilmumise ajaks oli neist elus veel viis veterani. Saateks soomekeelsele väljaandele on Soome Sõjaveteranide Eesti Ühenduse esimees Villem Ahas kirjeldanud raamatu kujunemist. Eestikeelne raamat on täienenud Ain Kaalepi mälestustega Villem Ahasest. Villem Ahas lahkus Soome Sõjaveteranide Eesti Ühenduse auesimehena 17.06.2014. Tänaseks on ühendus tegevuse lõpetanud. Soomepoiste pärandit jätkab Soomepoiste Pärimusühing.
