Võiks ehk mainida, et tegemist on Soome sõrmusega. Selliseid anti nendele kodanikele, kes annetasid riigile oma abielu- vm sõrmuse, et riik saaks korjanduse tulemuse ehk kulla vastu talvesõjas lennukeid osta. Tollal sõjavarustust osteti, mitte ei kerjatud üle maailma. Aga... kogutud sõrmused olid veel sõja lõpuski riigi käes, nende eest midagi osta ei jõutud. Samas neid kodanikele ei tagastatud. Ja viimased haakristisõrmused (haakrist ju lennuväe tunnus) müüdi huvilistele 1990ndatel.
