Synology kõvakettaserverid on väga head. Tarkvara on intuitiivne, kergesti asrusaadav ja kasutatav. See NAS töötas varukoopiaserverina 6-7 aastat. Täiesti töökorras. 3TB Seagate kettad on teisest NASist, testitud ja ilma BADideta. NASile on tehtud puhas install, tarkvara viimaseni uuendatud. Uusimat DSM7.3.2 enam ei toeta.
Sobib näiteks koduserveriks, meedia ja dokumendifailide jagamiseks võrgus või ka pilveteenute (Synology Drive) kaudu igal pool kus Internetiühendus on, nii arvuti kui ka telefoniappide kaudu.
