Brošüür sisaldab huvitavaid materjale keskaegse Tallinna mitmesugustest tulirelvadest. Relvade valmistamine nõudis kahtlemata nii oskusi kui teadmisi - relvameistrid pidid olema nii sepad kui insenerid ja tundma ka fortifikatsiooni. Tallinnas XIV-XVI sajandil töötanud relvameistreist on nimepidi teada 31 meistrit. Mõned tulirelvadest on siiani säilinud ja huvitavamad neist on eksponeeritud Peterburis Artilleeria Ajaloo Muuseumis («Punane lõvi», «Kibe surm», kamber-suurtükk jt). Kvaliteedilt ei jää need relvad maha tolleaegsetest Euroopa parimatest relvadest.
