TUTVUSTUS
Teises raamatus jätkab Eesti Vabariigi presidendi kantselei ülem Elmar Tambek (1897–1991) oma mälestusi kodumaalt. Pühendades selle bolševike ja natside süütute ohvrite mälestusele hõlmab raamat ajaliselt N. Liidu okupatsiooni esimest perioodi (1940-1941) ja sellele järgnenud Saksa okupatsiooni Eestis kuni autori lahkumiseni siit 20. septembril 1944. Nagu käesoleva väljaande esimesele, nii ka teisele raamatule on kirjutanud lühikese kommenteeriva järelsõna ajaloodoktor Enn Tarvel.
