"Vaatan ajas tagasi" on näitleja ja pedagoogi Inna Taarna mälestusteraamat. Olles sündinud 1926. aastal, sattus Inna Taarna lavale juba 16-aastaselt, kui hakkas tantsima Jaroslavlis asutatud Eesti Kunstiansamblites. Pärast sõda oli ta 1946. aastani "Estonia" tantsija, 1949 lõpetas Teatriinstituudi ning 1950. aastast sai Draamateatri näitlejaks. Aastatel 1978-1988 töötas Inna Taarna Pedagoogilise Instituudi režiikateedri õppejõuna.
