VHS (lühend inglise k sõnadest Video Home System 'kodune videosüsteem') on videomagnetofonide ehk videomakkide salvestus- ja taasesitusstandard, mis pärineb aastast 1976. Algselt oli lühendil VHS teine tähendus: Vertical Helical Scan, mis viitas pöörlevate magnetpeadega salvestusmeetodile. Standard näeb ette analoogsignaalide salvestamise videokassetis paiknevale magnetlindile ja selle töötas välja Jaapani firma JVC (Japan Victor Company).
