Bid types and bid interval
In order to participate in an auction, you will have to log in and make your offer. Depending on the type of auction you can make two types of bids:
Regular bid:
* Enter the amount you wish to bid and the system generates relevant bid.
* The bid must be at least one bid increment higher than the one before.
* An exception is the very first bid, which may be equal to the starting price.
Automatic bid:
* Enter the highest bid you are ready to make. Then the system will bid for you and increase the bid by one increment upon any bids that exceed your bid.
* If the automatic bidding is not big enough to bid more than the last bidder, the system will make your highest bid.
* If several users participate in automatic bidding, the highest bidder is the winner, whereas he/she has to exceed the second highest bid by no more than one bid increment. Interim increments are not shown.
* If two users make (automatic) offer for the same amount, the bidder whose bid was made first will be preferred.
* In current auction the amount of automatic bid can be changed by clicking on automatic bid specified at relevant auction.
Default bidding value equals minimum available amount. There is no difference between regular and automatic bidding in case of minimum offer.
Bid increment is the minimum amount by which you can increase the price for participating in auction.
Bid increment is calculated on the basis of current price. For details see the table below.
